Martin Tyskling, 78 of Grand Rivers, KY passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his residence.

Born Tuesday, January 18, 1944 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Martin Tyskling and the late Anne (Mohr) Tyskling. He was a devoted loving husband to his bride, the late Carol (Yost) Tyskling.

Martin was a live gas pipeline welder for North Shore Gas for 25 years. He lived an extraordinary, fascinating, adventurous life that was full of travel. One of his greatest joys was his never-ending honeymoon with his bride, Carol. He was an accomplished horse trainer and showman, and received the Midwest Jr. Horsemans Assoc. challenge 1957-1959 and the International Livestock Exposition 1957 & 1959. He was fluent in speaking Latin, French, German, and had a ensatible sense of humor and quick wit.

He was loved by many family, friends and meaningful people in his life; Betsy Kinsey (Amanda) of San Diego, CA, Susan Kinsey (Andrew) and Jacob Miklasz of DeKalb, IL, James Kinsey and Liam Kinsey of Chicago, IL, David Mifflin, Caitlyn and Amanda Mifflin of Grand Rivers, KY, Julie Jablonski (Justin) and Andrew, James and Austin of Nashville, IL, Kathy Taylor (Rod) of Grand Rivers, KY, and Patti Langford (Louis) of Calvert City, KY.

A memorial service is being planned and arrangements will be added as information becomes available to us.
