Marshall County is comfortably “in the green” as far as COVID is concerned

Good Morning!

Hopefully everyone is holding up well through these recent storms!

In the attached report, you will see the graph showing that several counties across the Commonwealth are in the green, with several still in the yellow and a handful hanging on to the red. I expect to see most of the state in the green or yellow in the coming weeks as cases continue to drop.

There are reports globally about the BA2 variant of Omicron. It is spreading overseas and that normally translates to spreading here in the states a few weeks to months later. It is our hope that we as a society are in a better place to handle any new variants due to increased vaccinations, natural immunities from those who had a version of COVID, and a combination of both. If we receive reports of increased cases in our area, I will relay that information to you immediately.
