
Wanda Stone Price, age 76, of Fulgham, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at her home.
Wanda was born in Union City, Tennessee on October 16, 1945 to the late Elbert and Zellia Stone. She worked for J.U. Kevil, working as a social service director with Haws Memorial before and finally as Treasurer for Hickman County. Wanda was appointed Magistrate of the 3rd district of Hickman County by Martha Lane Collins. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Independent Baptist Church.
Wanda loved gardening and flowers, with her favorites being peonies, ferns and her Japanese Red Maple. She was an avid historian with expertise in World War II and the Civil War. She was known for her cooking, especially her made from scratch cinnamon rolls and homemade fluffy yeast rolls. Wanda’s favorite hobby was spending time with her family.
She will be remembered as someone who was willing to speak her mind but was always tactful. She was classy and elegant while being loving and strong. Wanda was known for her wisdom and her granddaughter and her friends would constantly seek “Nay” for her advice. She adored her parents and her brother and was an amazing mother and adoring grandmother.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Andrea Dade and husband, Victor of Fulgham; one brother, Gene Stone; one granddaughter, Victoria Kaylea Dade; her sister-in-law, Sheila Stone; one niece, Regina Clark; two nephews, Samuel Stone and Christopher Stone; and two that she called her sons, Andy Floyd and Don House.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald Mitchell Stone.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Arlington with Bro. Alan Vinson officiating.
Memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time on Thursday, March 10, 2022.
