A big concert fundraiser is coming up for Marcella’s Kitchen and Marshall County Needline. Longtime volunteer with Marcella’s Kitchen, Dave Berndt joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. He says the concert will be Saturday, May 14th at 7 pm at the Kentucky Opry in Draffenville, with 100% of ticket sales going to the cause. Berndt says country, gospel and bluegrass music will be performed by professional local artists including Vicki Vaughn, Logan Oakley, Clayton and Cody Campbell and others. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by calling 270-527-3869. Marcella’s Kitchen on Guy Mathis Drive in Benton serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11 ’til 1.
