
Mrs. Moore was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She retired after 33 years of service as a private secretary for Ed Cain at Union Carbide. She loved bowling, golf and playing dominos. Betty was dearly loved by her family and friends. Her hospitality, generosity, sense of humor, and encouragement will be long remembered.
Betty is survived by her eight nieces and nephews, Lois Cox of Florida, David Nelson of Georgia, Robbie DeRamus of Arkansas, John Nelson of Colorado, Steve Brown of Florida, Michael Brown of Illinois, Jim Brown of Tennessee and Douglas Brown Jr. of Missouri; several great-nieces and great-nephews; a sister-in-law, Arlene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert David Moore; a sister, Anna Brooks Nelson; a brother, Douglas Eugene Brown Sr. Her parents were William and Margie Edwards Brown.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Father Gary Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m.
