Dorothy Anderson, age 88, of La Center passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Dorothy was born in Wickliffe on May 28, 1931 to the late Elliott and John Ann Wallace. She worked for Lourdes Home Health and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in West Paducah. She was a lover of ASPCA and volunteered at Life Care Center of La Center.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Jane Gibson (Ronnie) of Cunningham and Debby Donoho (Glen) of La Center; three sons, Mike Anderson (fiance Rita Bucey) of Barlow, Kenneth Anderson (Renee) of Kirbyton, and Kevin Anderson (Terri) of Symsonia; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Anderson; her parents; one son, Paul Anderson; one sister, Jane Upham; and two brothers, Elliott “Red” Wallace, Jr. and Tommy Wallace.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
