Safety is a priority for the Marshall County Parks Department. We have made the decision to take the following steps to do our part to prevent Covid-19 at this time
– Restroom cleanings will be increased to 2x daily
– Playground equipment will be sprayed down and cleaned multiple times each week
– CDC guidelines are being posted throughout the park, especially in high traffic areas
– Reminders to wash hands are being posted in all restrooms
As a reminder, you are able to make reservations and payments over the phone by calling 270-527-5284, this does not have to be done in person. Reservations for some of our facilities can be made online at www.marshallcountyparks.org and online payments are accepted as well.
At this time we have received the following cancellations for events happening at Mike Miller Park:
Banking with my Peeps Easter Egg Hunt by Lake Chem FCU- CANCELED
Dynamo soccer- suspended all play (practice and games) through March 27
We are working closely with the Marshall County Health Department to closely monitor all recommendations from the CDC and the Kentucky Department for Public Health. If any of our future events are canceled we will announce on our social media pages and website.
