Local Racer to Race on the BIG STAGE!

Cameron Cook is a very determined 7 year old from Benton!  He has been riding dirt bikes since he was 3 years old and started racing in October of 2016!  Racing wouldn’t be possible without the support of his entire family.  His mom, Morgan Stone, is his biggest fan and makes sure he has everything he needs to ride.  In Spring of 2017, Morgan loaded Cameron’s PW50 into the back of her Explorer and they headed to a regional race for Loretta Lynn’s.  In 2018, he earned 2 tickets to Loretta’s on his Cobra 50 and finished 12th Overall!

Recently, Cameron sent in his resume to KTM in hopes of securing a spot to race in a KTM Junior Supercross race.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that is only available to riders that are 7 or 8 years old and have been racing for at least 1 year.  They are also required to show proof of maintaining above average marks in school to qualify to race this exhibition race!  After waiting patiently, Cameron found out last week that he has been chosen to race at the Indianapolis, IN Supercross Event on March 16th at Lucas Oil Stadium.  The race will be aired on NBC Sports March 16th starting at 10:00PM CST.  If you have NBC Sports Gold, you can watch the races live starting at 6:00PM CST.

Cameron says his favorite Supercross Rider is Marvin Musquin.  When asked what his Favorite part of racing is, his reply was “I get to go fast and jump really big jumps!”  He is currently sponsored by THOR MX, TCX Boots, BRAAP Supply, Wicket Audio, Illusive Gloves, Backyard Designs, Pirelli Tires, Scott Goggles, and Moto Seat.

GOOD LUCK AT INDY CAMERON!!
