Mrs. Donna Faye McKendree, 85, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at her home.
Born Saturday, May 7, 1932, in Gum Springs, she was the daughter of the late Pat Virgil Walton and the late Isabel (McKenny) Walton. She enjoyed cooking for her family, planting flowers and watching UK Basketball. She was always laughing and smiling and lived life to the fullest.
She is survived by two sons, Mark McKendree wife Connie, and Barry McKendree, all of Benton; seven grandchildren, Brandy Roberts, husband Eric of Paducah, Nicole Riddle, husband Todd of Cornelius, N.C., Rebecca Long, husband Timmy, Sarah Young, husband Nathan and Barry McKendree Jr., Brittany McKendree and Markea McKendree, all of Benton; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 44 years, Arvil “Red” McKendree, daughter, Cathy Massey, two brothers and five sisters.
A funeral service will be at noon on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Interment will follow in Birmingham Cemetery, Benton.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time at noon on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
