“We only part to meet again.”
Sierra “Little Britches” Jones was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on
Saturday, May 20th, 2017 in Benton, Kentucky. A daughter, sister, niece, and loving
friend, Sierra will be deeply missed by all.
Equally stunning in both mud and makeup, Sierra’s beauty truly came from within.
With an old soul and a bigger than life personality, she was a spark of fire, light,
and warmth in the dark. Friendship came naturally to her and strangers were simply
friends she had not met yet.
Forever a Daddy’s little girl, Sierra loved ridin’ wheelers, hanging out with
friends, and was just beginning to learn how arranging strokes of pencil, pen, and
paint could transform into beautiful works of art. Fiercely loyal, her tribe always
came first. Sierra was confident in who she was and had incredible dreams for who
she was going to be.
“A woman who does not require validation from anyone is the most feared individual
on the planet.”
Sierra was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Susan “Gaga” Crouch and her
grandfather Ricky “Pa” Henson, as well as great-grandmothers Anna Feranz and Rosetta
Jones, and great grandfathers Wesley Jackson Jones and Charles Crouch. She ascended
to heaven on the same angels’ wings that her dear brother, Warren Jaco, did last
summer and is now reunited with her departed loved ones again in perfect peace and
harmony.
Sierra is survived by her mother, Holli Williams, husband Shelby; her great
grandmother Louise Crouch; grandparents Kimberly Jobe and Doug Edwards, aunt Melissa
Henson and son Keegan Peyton; her uncle Michael Henson, his daughter Whitney Eakes,
wife Lisa and their daughter Payton; and her aunt Cheyenne Walker and her husband
Justin.
Sierra is also survived by her father, Thomas Jones; brother, Dylan Jones, wife
Amanda; brother, Shannon Boss, girlfriend Luci Rickard; grandfather Jerry Jones;
grandmother Annaliese Harfman and husband Tom Ray; uncle Michael Evans and wife
Kristen, and their son Ethan; uncle Johnny Evans and daughter Lindsey, uncle Allen
Dysen and wife Barbara; uncle Jamie Hamlett and wife Dottie, and their children
Sheena Jones (husband Scott Jones) and Shawn Hamlett; and her aunt Debra Fisher and
husband Paul, and their son Wesley Sirls.
Services for Sierra Jones will be at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, Kentucky.
Visitation for the family will be held on Wednesday, May 24th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm
and the funeral service will be held Thursday, May 25th at 3:00 pm.
Interment will take place at Benton Cemetery and Sierra will be laid peacefully to
rest next to her beloved little brother, Warren Jaco.
The family appreciates all donations, flowers, thoughts, and prayers. Sierra’s light
and love will never pass from this Earth, as each memory of her will be cherished
and held close to the hearts of those to whom she belonged.
“Sky above me, Earth below me, Fire within me.”
