
PADUCAH – The Lady Marshals picked up their 20th win of the season Friday when they beat Paducah Tilghman 59-26 to extend their season record to 20-4. Hannah Langhi had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the win, Miyah Davis added 16 points, hitting 4 of 7 from three point range.

Tilghman’s Tamia Gaines scored the first points of the game followed by two straight 3-pointers from Davis for a 6-2 lead and it was all Marshall County from there, going on to lead 28-5 at the end of the first quarter, led by Davis who hit three 3-pointers in the quarter with 10 points by Langhi.
Whitnee Miller’s basket to start the second quarter was followed by baskets from Tera Colson and Langhi for a 34-5 Lady Marshal lead. Langhi, Colson, Lorin Powell and Davis combined for the next 12 points that led to a 46-9 lead, cut by three points on a basket at the buzzer by Tilghman’s Sophia Patterson.
Langhi scored to open the second half that gave the Lady Marshals a 36 point lead and a running clock the remainder of the game. They went on to lead 58-19 at the end of the third quarter, scoring one more point in the fourth to win 59-26.
The Lady Marshals took advantage of 20 Tilghman turnovers, scoring 25 points as a result in their second win over the Lady Tornados, the first coming at home on January 10th when they won 72-11.
