Betty Lou Johnson, age 84 of Calvert City, KY died on Monday, November 14, 2016, at her home. She was a homemaker and member of Community Chapel Church. Born Sunday, January 3, 1932 in Marshall Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Tony Young and the late Edna (Peck) Young. Surviving are daughter, Sandra Kay Bradley of Calvert City, KY, grandchildren, Doug Bradley, wife Keisha of Calvert City, KY, Greg Bradley, wife Mandy of Calvert City, KY, Kristie Lindsey, husband Joe, and Leann Ferguson, husband Jason, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Nelson Johnson, and 1 son. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Charlie Canup officiating. Interment will follow in the Salyers Cemetery, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
