Mrs. Dora Jackson Lambert, age 80 of Hardin, KY died on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY. She was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and a retired director of the South Marshall Senior Citizens Center. Some of her hobbies included flower arranging and fishing. Born Monday, February 3, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lera (Darnall) Parker. Surviving are her daughter, Rena Jones, husband Kenny of Hardin, KY, brother, Leon Parker, wife Shirley of Kirksey, KY, grandchild, Heather Castleberry, husband Phillip and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Elizabeth Castleberry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, James Roy Jackson, 2nd husband, William "Pete" Lambert, brother, Charles "Chuck" Parker, and sister, Yvonne Stark. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Ricky Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in the New Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
