Mrs. Bessie M. Parish, age 87 of Grand Rivers, KY died on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. She was a retired cook for the Iron Kettle Restaurant in Grand Rivers, KY. Born Tuesday, September 17, 1929 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Flay Pinnegar and the late Alvie (Pierce) Pinnegar. Surviving are her son, Wayne Parish of Grand Rivers, KY, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.U. "Happy" Parish, and son, Ray Parish. A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Paradise Cemetery, LBL, KY with Father Anthoni Ottagan officiating.
