Mike Miller Park vandalized in early morning hours Sunday

miller parkMike Miller County Park at Draffenville, KY was vandalized during the early morning hours of September 11. One or more individuals entered the park after hours and spray painted monuments, signs, bathroom walls, playground equipment, and storage buildings with obscenities and other graffiti. In addition, several lights at the Veterans’ Memorial Plaza were damaged, and two flags were stolen.
Park Superintendent Dennis Foust asks the public for patience in removing the graffiti and obscenities within the park, and that repairs and cleaning will take place as soon as possible, but that it may take a few days in order to preserve the integrity of evidence. The Marshall County Sheriff’s office is investigating.
