CLEMENTINE SMITH, 96, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away at 9:20PM Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Clementine was a member of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a clerk at True Value.
She is survived by her step grandson; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Martin York; her second husband John Smith; and her brother, Hoy Darnell. Her parents were Jesse Hamilton Darnell and Martha Tweatt Darnell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Filbeck Cann & King Funeral Home. Rev. Sammy Cunningham and Mark Thweatt will officiate and burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00AM until 1:00PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
