Mr. Gary Wallace "Gomer" Ford, age 66 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Born Sunday, March 19, 1950 in Calloway County, KY, he was a retired Tire Builder for General Tire and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Mr. Ford is survived by his wife Anita (King) Ford of Benton, KY, sons, Jeremey Ford and his wife Christi of Benton, KY, Josh Ford of Benton, KY, PJ Wommack and his wife Haley of Benton, KY and Aaron Ford of Benton, KY, brothers, Ronnie Ford and his wife Esther of Benton, KY and Harold Ford and his wife Mary of Smithland, KY, sisters, Suzanne Gibson and her husband Rodger of Murray, KY and Charolett Faulk and her husband Jack of Eddyville, KY; step-mother Ann Ford of Benton, KY and three grandchildren, Jade Ford, Tori Ford and Dax Ford all of Benton, KY. Mr. Ford was preceded in death by his brother Larry Parker, step-father Tom Copeland, father Grover Ford and mother Mildred (Lyles) Copeland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday June 24, 2016 in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, with Bro. Jason Sharp and Bro. Glenn Cope officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Fork Cemetery, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 23, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
