
Calvert City, KY (April 29, 2025) – On April 24, 2025 while on patrol, an officer was traveling behind a vehicle that seemed to quickly turn into a business parking lot to evade the officer. The officer determined that the operator had a suspended license. After hanging out in the parking lot for a while the operator left the business. When stopped by the officer the operator admitted to pulling into the business to ditch the officer. The operator has a history of driving on a suspended license. Erik Andrew Williams, 36, of Wickliffe was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI suspended license 2nd offense.
On April 26, 2025 an officer was dispatched to the area of the 27-mile marker on I-24 west bound in reference to a collision involving a vehicle and semi-truck and trailer. Contact was made with all parties involved. After further investigation, Anthony Montes De Oca, 35, of Calvert City was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 1st offense, failure to notify DOT of address change, and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance 1st offense.
