Mrs. Kathy McNeely Hodge, age 73, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Hodge was born in Marion, Kentucky, on December 8, 1951, to the late Barney Clark McNeely and Elizabeth Ann (Olive) McNeely. Mrs. Hodge retired as the Public Relations Director for the Murray Calloway County Hospital after 25 years of service. Following her retirement from the hospital, Mrs. Hodge held the position as the Executive Director of the Humane Society of Calloway County. She was a member and Elder of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Hodge is survived by her husband, William H. “Bud” Hodge of Murray, Kentucky, to whom she married on June 13, 1971, in Marion, Kentucky; and by one daughter, Lee Ellen Stacey of Richmond Hill, Georgia.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with Bro. Gary Vacca officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A private burial will be held at a later date.
