
Mrs. Janice Spann Wilson, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Murray – Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Wilson was born on February 14, 1942, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Rufus Spann and Icle Kuykendall Spann. Janice retired from working in the business offices of the Murray – Calloway County Hospital and Wynn-Lynn Electrical supplies. She was also a member of the North Fork Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Spann.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Wilson of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Micheal Wilson of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Jimmy Spann and wife Debbie of Paris, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Justin Wilson of Shawnee, Kansas, Alisha Wilson of Lawton, Oklahoma and Micheala James Wilson of St. Petersburg, Florida; three great grandchildren, Jones Wilson, Jennings Wilson and Icle Chambers.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Rev. Glynn Orr and Rev. Rand Kuykendall will officiate
and the burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
