Lady Marshals improve to 18-6 with win over Greenwood

Rylee Teague hit five 3-pointers to finish with 15 points in the Lady Marshals win on Saturday over Greenwood.

The Lady Marshals beat Greenwood 67-36 in an afternoon game on Saturday at Reed Conder Gymnasium. With the win, their record improves to 18-6 while Greenwood drops to 10/11.

Three players in double figures were led by Kinzlee Terry with 19, Rylee Teague finished with 15 and Eden Sandlin scored 14. Anzlee Hendrix led Greenwood with 18 points.

Teague and Terry each had five of the Lady Marshals 14 3-pointers and Sandlin hit three. The Lady Marshals were 7-of-7 at the free throw line.

According to KHSAA state-wide top 50 rankings (Feb. 3, 2025), the Lady Marshals are 11th in points allowed per game (37.0), 44th in points per game (58.0), 12th in margin of points per game (21.0), 17th in field goals (44.0%), 41st in free throws (67.5%) and 13th among 3-point field goal leaders (34.6%).

Individually, Waller ranks 18th among top 50 two and 3-point field goal leaders (57.2%), 21st in free throws (82.1%) and 10th in 3-pointers with an average of 2.9 per game (45.1%). Terry ranks 23rd in 3-pointer with an average of 2.5 per game (38.5%).

The Lady Marshals head to Murray on Tuesday for a district double-header that gets underway at 6:00.
