Mary Kathryn Joiner, age 93 of Dexter, Kentucky died on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Glen Joiner of Dexter, KY; son, William E “Bill” Cathey, wife Eileen M. of Benton, KY, daughter, Angie Gardner of Benton, KY; 6 grand children; 18 great grand children; 21 great great grandchildren; and 5 great great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lela Henderson; first husband, William Gillard Cathey; daughter, Mary Euelene Norwood, and 2 brothers.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Brett Miles officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
