Marshals will play for 6th straight Paducah Tilghman Invitational title on Saturday

The Marshals finished second last Friday in the Daviess County Invitational at Ben Hawes Golf Course. With a team score of 299, they finished nine strokes behind first place Owensboro. McCracken County finished third with a score of 300.

Ryan Stokes led the Marshals with a 1-under par 70 and finished fourth. Anderson Jones shot 75, Paxton Carter 76, Brooks Lamb 78 and Nolan Hurst 82. Owensboro’s Nolan Warren took medalist honors with a 3-under par 68.

On Monday, the Marshals played in the Gator Invitational at Bowling Green Country Club and finished sixth in the field of 18 teams with a score of 320. McCracken County took the win with a team score of 310.

Paxton Carter shot the low round for the Marshals, carding a 2-over par 74 to finish in fourth place. Ryan Stokes shot 75 and finished 10th, Brooks Lamb shot 83 and Anderson Jones and Nolan Hurst each shot 88. Bethlehem’s Nick Osborne shot an even-par 72 to win medalist honors.

The Marshals will play in the Paducah Tilghman Invitational on Saturday at Paxton Park Golf Course and will be looking to win their sixth straight title in the tournament.
