Randy “Fred” Starks, 66, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital Paducah.
Randy was born to the late Bobby Dean Starks and Nell Morehouse on July 24, 1957, in Murray, Kentucky. He was an HVAC mechanic and worked at Central Appliance for years. Randy was a family man who always put his family first. He was an outdoorsman and a known collector of many things, especially guns and knives.
Randy is survived by his wife and friend, Fay Bissell Starks, of Princeton, Kentucky; two daughters, Roxanne Tate (William) of Fulton, Kentucky, and Jessica Wooten (Arthur) of Benton, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Gracelyn Starks, Ayla Fryman, Thomas Wooten, Addison Wooten, Emalyn Fryman, and Aiden Tate; and one former son-in-law, Brian Fryman.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Dawn Slaughter; his parents, Bobby Dean Starks and Nell Morehouse; and his step-father, William Morehouse.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky, 42025.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky, 42025.
