Mr. Steven Ellegood, age 71 of Mayfield, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was a U.S. Army veteran, he had worked at Ingersoll Rand and was of the Christian Faith. He is survived by his daughter- Ashley (Zac) Stivers of Marion, IL; stepsons- Michael Harrison, Shannon Harrison, and Chris Bass; grandchildren- Austin Brayman, Halee Oglesbee, Bryan Oglesbee, and Amelia Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents- George “Buck” Ellegood and Alma Wilson Ellegood; and a son- Gary Wayne Ellegood. Funeral services for Steven will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY with Rev. Keith Allred and Michael Harrison officiating. Friends are invited to call from 10 AM until 1PM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Speed, Dub Trevathen, Bob Durbin, Michael Harrison, Shannon Harrison, and Chris Bass.
