Joan Land, 77, of Paducah passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Joan was a former childcare provider. She also worked for Sears and Citizens Bank. She was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. She enjoyed photography, traveling, looking at Christmas lights, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Mickey Land; two sons, Michael (Francesca) Land of North Dakota and Matthew (Nicole) Land of Smithland; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Cody, Audrey, Merritt, Noah, Leif, Sydney; five great-grandchildren, Kaci, Bentley, Nathan, Mallory, Charlotte; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Bessie Kyle; and one brother, George Malcom Kyle.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Allred officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
