The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested an individual on Friday afternoon for drug trafficking following a traffic stop in McCracken County.
On 12/22/2023 at approximately 1254pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a passenger car on Starke Ave in McCracken County.
Deputies identified the operator of the vehicle as Henry Wilkey. During the investigation, K9 Oscar was deployed and alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics coming from within the vehicle. Deputies located approximately 40 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine inside the vehicle and on Wilkey’s person.
Henry Wilkey was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail for the following charges:
Failure to wear Seat belt.
Failure to produce Insurance.
License to be in Possession.
Trafficking in Methamphetamine greater than 2 grams (2nd Offense)
