Sue Peyton Bollinger, age 86, of Paducah passed away at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Sue was a member of the Massac Methodist Church and a 1959 graduate of Lone Oak High School. Sue worked as a cashier for Cracker Barrell Restaurant for many years. Sue enjoyed watching Kentucky Basketball and the St. Louis Baseball games.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy (Richard) Sawyer, Paducah; step-son, Darrell (Jane) Bollinger, Paducah; four grandchildren, Tony (Mandy) Cruse, Angie (Josh) Boutwell, Wesley (Kim) Sawyer and Lydia (Deric) Tarnowski; nine great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was husband, L.V. Bollinger; daughter, Pam Kinsey Johnston; parents; Chester and Mary Bumpous Peyton; two sisters, Margie Overstreet and Edna Griffith; two brothers, Rolf Boyd Peyton and Lindy Peyton.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. John Smithmier officiating. Burial will follow at the Massac Cemetery in McCracken County. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
