The 2023 Christian Fellowship basketball season is underway and the Lady Eagles are off to a 2-1 start and the Eagles are 1-2.
The Lady Eagles opened the season on Monday with a 61-33 win over Community Christian led by a big night from senior Gracie Howard who scored 31 points. Howard was 11-of-16 from the free throw line and one of the leading rebounders with eight. Ava Ryan had 11 points, nine of those from 3-point range, and had eight rebounds.

Tuesday, the Lady Eagles beat Dawson Springs 59-34 behind another big scoring night from Gracie Howard with 34 points. Howard was 8-of-10 from the line, had eight steals and eight rebounds. Ava Ryan had a double-double night with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

CFS suffered their first loss on Friday against Fulton County 60-36. Gracie Howard scored 31 of the Lady Eagles 36 points and was 10-of-12 at the free throw line.

CFS picked up their first win on Friday over Fulton County 58-57. The win was highlighted by Elijah Grigg’s 1,000th career point.
