Glenda “Sissy” Sue Myers, 75 of Benton, KY passed on Monday, November 27, 2023, at her residence.
Born Wednesday, March 10, 1948 in Marshall County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Darnall and the late Bobbie (Noles) Darnall.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, often going to as many of the grandchildren and great grandchildren’s ballgames as she could. Sissy was an avid UK basketball fan and a member of Oak Level Church.
Glenda is survived by her daughter, Angie Skees husband Joey of Benton, KY; son in law, Craig Edwards of Benton, KY; brothers, Jackie Darnall wife Flora of Benton, KY, Ricky Darnall of Benton, KY, Jeff Darnall of Princeton, KY, Allen Darnall of Benton, KY, Michael Darnall wife Amy of Mayfield, KY; sisters, Debbie Ford husband Steve of Benton, KY, Tracy Puckett husband Darrell of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Tyler Edwards wife Brandi, Travis Edwards wife Madison, Meagan York husband Cory, Allie Skees; and four great grandchildren, Laegan Edwards, Kendall Edwards, Delcie York and Shaw York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Wendell “Bub” Myers; and daughter, Robin Edwards.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St, Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Kendrick Lewis and Rev. Danny Pruitt officiating.
Interment will follow in New Zion Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the service time of 1:00PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home.
