Pickleball players went to Fenton, Missouri to participate in the MPC Thanksgiving Classic November 24-26. This was a sanction tournament with 467 entries playing on 18 courts competing in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles events. The Tournament Director indicated this is the largest indoor event in the history of the state of Missouri and one of the largest indoor events in the nation.
Jennifer Wilson came home with Gold in the 3.5 Women’s Singles. Landon Wilson and Brent Thompson placed fourth out of 33 teams in Men’s 4.0. 5-2 match record, 11 games. Landon Wilson and Kenzie Wilson placed fifth out of 38 teams in 3.5 mixed. 4-2 match record, 11 games. Brigette Thompson and Shane Boudreaux also competed.
