Mr. Winslow was a retired self-employed contractor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mayfield. Mr. Winslow also served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed squirrel hunting as his hobby.
Mr. Winslow is survived by his wife of 25 years, Trudy Stracener Winslow; three sons, Steve Winslow of Lynnville, KY, Jim Winslow of Mayfield, KY, and Nick (Beth) Ball of Paducah, KY; one daughter, April Perkins of Mayfield, KY; one sister, Molly Winslow Tartt of Brevard, NC; six grandchildren, Ashley (Victoria) Winslow, Madison (Bobby) Smith, Cash Winslow, Eli Winslow, and Jett Perkins; one great grandchild, Ashlynn Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Elizabeth Robbins Winslow.
A funeral service for Mr. Johnny Winslow is scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Blake Shuecraft will officiate. Interment will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield. Jim Winslow, Steve Winslow, Cash Winslow, Eli Winslow, Bobby Smith and Nick Ball will serve as pallbearers. Military graveside services conducted by the American Legion Post #26. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Byrn Funeral Home.
