Mr. Joseph “Dean” Baker, 71 of Farmington, Ky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital, Murray, Ky.,
Born November 28, 1951, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph Samuel Baker and Jean Annie (Wilson) Baker.
Dean is survived by his wife and companion Cynthia L. (Patterson) Baker of Farmington, Ky; stepson, David (Daryl Anne) Cayer of Ypsilanti, Mi; and Loving brother. Terry Baker of Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter, Danielle L. Cayer
He was a gifted writer and published poet and award-winning author.
No local services will be held. To honor Dean’s wishes, he will be returned to his native Canada, where a memorial service will be held at a later date.
