Paulette Ellington, age 79, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:45 P.M. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home.
Paulette was born in Dover, Tennessee on Sunday, February 20, 1944 to Clyde and Alene Byrd. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and “yard saling”. Paulette was a retired LPN with Baptist Health Paducah and a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Mrs. Ellington is survived by her daughter, Sondra Price of Paducah; her sons, Mike Ellington (Lisa) and John Ellington (Julie) all of Paducah; her sister, Nancy Edwards of Paducah; her grand children, Stephanie Rushing (Mark), Travis Ellington, Matthew Price and Gracie Ellington; her step grandchildren, Travis Cartwright, Lezley Holland and Tiffany Stewart (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Riley and Ellie Rushing; her step great grandchild, Harper Stewart.
Mrs. Ellington was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Larry Ellington; her parents, Clyde Byrd and Alene Moore Byrd; her brother, Robert Lewis Byrd.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Fr. Gary Clark officiating. Urn interment will take place at a later date.
Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Friday, July 28, 2023 at the funeral home.
