Sandra Lee Cargill and Jimmy Alan Cargill of West Paducah, KY
Sandra Lee Cargill and Jimmy Alan Cargill of West Paducah, entered heaven on July 20, 2023 and July 22, 2023 respectively. Sandra was born in Bowling Green, KY on August 10, 1948, and Jimmy was born in Houston TX on September 8, 1946. They were married for 31 years, and were retired educators. Jimmy was also an Army Veteran.
The couple each had two children from previous marriages who survive them, James LaSalvia of Paducah, KY, Matthew LaSalvia of Villa Hills, KY, Elise Allen of Spring Branch, TX and Laura Dahlberg of Plano, TX. They are also survived by Sandra’ sister, Nancy Akers of Goshen, KY and Jimmy’s brother, Michael Cargill of Georgetown, TX along with six grandchildren.
The couple were members of First Presbyterian Church of Paducah and among their many community activities, Sandra was the past president of the boards of Child Watch and her PEO Chapter, and an active member of the Perennial Garden Club. Jimmy served on the board of the Paducah Symphony Orchestra and played trumpet in the community band and other ensembles.
At their request, they were cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. Local Arrangements are being handled by Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Paducah.
