Kathleen O’Connell Smith, 71, of Gilbertsville passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation.
She was born on September 14, 1951 in Illinois to Herbert and Mildred O’Connell. Kathleen worked as a machinist for a chemical factory and was a member of Local 1720 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. She was of the Christian Faith.
Kathleen is survived by one son, Josh Smith of Horse Cave, KY; two grandchildren, Austin and Jordan Smith; and her faithful friends and caretakers, Robert and Jennifer Wright of Owensboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no memorial service at this time.
