Jackie Kay Clark, 75, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Jackie was born in Paducah on September 18, 1947 to the late Jack and Kathleen Wallace Jennings. She was a member of Benton First Baptist Church. Jackie had a deep love for music. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the church choir as well as group and solo performances. Jackie owned and operated the Benton Dress Shop from 1975 until 1996. She then went on to a long career with US Bank until 2013 before retiring from Benton City Hall. Jackie was also a very social person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends shopping or going out to eat.
Jackie is survived by her son, Scott Allen Clark (Stephanie) of Benton; two grandsons, Gregory Hendrix (Sally) and Jack Clark; one great-grandchild, Finley Hendrix; and one beloved cousin, Joe Dycus (Donna).
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph “Jack” Jennings and her mother, Kathleen Wallace Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro. Jeremy Hudgin officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home.
