Roger Lee Nichols, age 77, of Bardwell, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Roger was born in Cowen, West Virginia on January 18, 1946 to the late Roy Lee and Lela Ann Green Nichols. He was a member of Bardwell Baptist Church. In his free time, Roger loved to read or be in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He also loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren.
Roger is survived by his two daughters, Lela Nichols of Arlington and Sheila (Jeff) Warren on Glenwood City, Wisconsin; and three grandchildren, Destiny Nichols, Shania Warren and Blake Warren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Deloris Jean Nichols and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Bro. Shane Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at Burkley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the funeral home.
