Mr. Buddie C. Strong, age 84
of Lowes, KY passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN.
He was a member of Lowes Church of Christ, a member of Purchase Area Antique Tractor Club and a self-employed truck driver. Buddie was a hard working man. He adored his family, was a firm believer in Christ and was loved by his family.
Mr. Strong is survived by his wife, Janis Shelton Strong; one son, Teddy Strong of Lowes, KY; two daughters, Angie (Brent) Burnett of Lowes, KY and Holly (Stephen) Vali of Cumming, GA; one sister, Sharon Summerville of Folsomdale, KY; and four grandchildren, Mercedes (Austin) Branham of Lowes, KY, Harley Smith of Lowes, KY, Eli and Cole Vali of Cumming, GA.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kirsten Burnett and his parents, Aaron and Gracie Helfer Strong.
Funeral services for Mr. Buddie C. Strong will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Joey Glisson will officiate. Interment will follow at Lowes Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Morse, Travis Frick, Adam Frick, Austin Branham, Landon Woley and Ben Maxwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Strong, Rodney Strong, Mike Strong, John Boyd, Avery Boyd and Tim Whitis.
