Track and field athletes, Georgia Hall and Preston Lamb, were selected MTG Insurance Athletes of the Week. Hall broke her own school record with a throw of 118-10 in discus at the Carterville Invitational at Carterville High School. Lamb took second in the 400 meters (51.55) and a member of two relay teams – the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 – which placed second at the Marshall County Invitational of the South.
