Neva Scull Thweatt, age 74, of Hickman County, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Graves County.
She was born on July 2, 1948 in Calloway County to her late parents, Alfred and Lurley King Scull. Neva loved to sew and made Raggedy Ann dolls for a long time. She retired as a nurse assistant at Calloway Hospital after thirty years.
Neva is survived by her two sons, Billy Hopkins (Sheila) of Paris, Tennessee, Mike Hopkins (Dawn) of Hardin; three sisters, Francis Clark (Ricky) of Murray, Nancy Jeffrey (Steve) of Paris, Tennessee, Becky Easley (Ollie) of Mayfield; two brothers, Bill Scull of Hazel, Charles Scull (Coleen) of Murray; four grandchildren, Tina Hopkins, Tiffany Powell (Daniel), Dusty Hopkins (Lexie), Phillip Hopkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Hawn and Lurley Fane King Scull.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Hazel Cemetery with Bro. Mike Wimberly officiating.
