Western Kentucky Pickleball players did not have to travel very far to compete in a pickleball tournament. The Baird Wealth West Kentucky Pickleball Tournament was held in Paducah February 18-19, 2023. This first ever tournament held at the Paducah Expo Center featured 12 indoor courts. There were 179 players from six states entered in divisions ranging from 2.5 to 4.0 level, age events 13+ years and 60+ years. This allowed a lot of local players to compete in their first ever tournament and bring home some hardware. Players from are area brought home 20 medals, 4 Gold, 6 Silver and 10 Bronze medals.
