Mary Pearl Rainey, age 95, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at her residence.
Mary was born on November 18, 1927 in Mississippi to Albert and Flora Saxton McDill. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Clement Street Church of Christ.
Mary is survived by three sons, Lafayette “Larry” Rainey of Paducah, James Rainey of Paducah, Gerald Harrison (Phyllis) of Paducah; two sisters, Dorothy Morrow, Anna Sue Ware; one brother, Donald McDill; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin York Rainey; one son, John Rainey; brothers, Kendall McDill, Roy McDill, two infant brothers and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Glen Head officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Kenton cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
