Chester Robinson, 84 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
Born Friday, December 9, 1938, he was the son of the late John B. “Tom” Robinson and the late Mellie (Damron) Robinson.
He worked for Caterpillar and was a member of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy (Anderson) Robinson; daughters, Vickie Robinson of Benton, KY, Carla Kaylor of North Pole, AK; brother, Lester Robinson of Jenkins, KY; sisters, Barbara Sue Bryant of Pike, Co., KY, Jamie Bugg of Pikeville, KY; 6 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene Robinson; and sisters, Lois Rowe and Joyce Ward.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Collier Funeral Chapel, located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Jack Clark officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Collier Funeral Home.
