Mrs. Shirley Ann Davidson Hobson, age 80, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a dedicated member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and a former employee of Curlee Clothing Company. The family wants to express their heartfelt appreciation for the care and love shown to Shirley Hobson from Mills Health & Rehab staff.
Mrs. Hobson is survived by one son-in-law, Dennis Sanderson of Mayfield, KY; two granddaughters, Loretta Webb and April Jones both of Mayfield, KY; one grandson, Danny (Crystal) Sanderson of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Donnie Davidson of Florida; four great grandchildren, Christian Webb, Triniti Sanderson, Preston Jones and Luke Sanderson all of Mayfield, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard Allen Carr; her second husband, Marion C. Hobson; one daughter, Toni Sanderson; one brother, Bobby Charles Davidson; one sister, Wanda Sue Madding; one brother-in-law, Rev. Jimmy Madding; and her parents, Charles Clifford and Eva Nina Christenberry Davidson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Davidson Hobson will be 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. will officiate.
Visitation will be 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
