On December 6, 2022, at approximately 2357 hours, A McCracken County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on Kentucky Dam Road near Tyree Road for traffic violations. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Candace M Grant out of Metropolis, Illinois and the passenger was identified as Terrell B Deen out of Golconda, Illinois. During the investigation, Candace M Grant was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. Deputies also located drug paraphernalia and 2grams of suspected methamphetamine. Both were arrest and lodged into the McCracken County Jail. Candace M Grant was charged with the following. Failure to Use Turn Signal. Careless Driving. Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (methamphetamine) Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess Terrell B Deen was charged with the Following. Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree. (methamphetamine)
