Mr. Royce W. Towery, age 83, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mayfield, a member of Modine Manufacturing Union and a retired employee of Carbon Graphite.
Mr. Towery is survived by his wife, Glinda Barclay Towery; one son Danny Towery of St. Louis, MO; two daughters, Dr. Salena Poat (John) Cunningham of Mayfield, KY and Dana King of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Deese Towery of Mayfield, KY; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dwayne Towery; four brothers, Romiel Towery, Treman Towery, William Glen Towery and Gene Towery; four sisters, Liddie Sanderson, Jo Nell Shelton, Belva Fitts and Ann Lamb; and his parents, Joe and Lovie Bogard Towery.
Funeral services for Mr. Royce W. Towery will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Dr. Wes Fowler will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
