Mia Teague will continue soccer career at University of the Cumberlands

Mia Teague signed on Wednesday to continue her soccer career at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky. Mia was a vital part of the Lady Marshals soccer team’s four straight district and regional championships during her high school career.

She was selected to the Kentucky High School Girls Soccer Association Honorable Mention All-State Team in 2021 and 2022. Mia was an All-District and All-Region First Team selection in 2020, 2021 and 2022. She established herself as one of the best overall players in the region her senior season and is one of the most consistent players to put on the Lady Marshals uniform.

Mia finishes her high school career tied for fifth all-time in assists in program history. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average and has been a servant leader for the Lady Marshals throughout her high school career. Mis has been an excellent advocate for Marshall County soccer, training many young players in our community.

Mia is also a member of the Lady Marshals basketball team.
