
On October 18th, 2022, at approximately 12:15am, Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office were notified of a suspicious vehicle on Old Mayfield Rd. in the Freemont area. The vehicle was a 2001 Chevy SUV occupied by 26-year-old Dakota A. Miller of Kevil, KY.
Miller was identified and it was confirmed that he was wanted by the Parole Board for absconding.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Miller was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine and other items related to Drug Paraphernalia. Miller was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail where he was lodged.
While inside of the jail, it was learned that Miller concealed a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine on his person that was found by jail staff.
Miller has an extensive criminal history involving Crystal Methamphetamine, Possessing Stolen Firearms, Burglary 1st Degree, and several other charges. Miller was released and paroled from prison in August of 2022 stemming from serious and violent crimes in Ballard, Livingston, and Calloway Counties.
