Mrs. Mary Ruth Davis, 88 of Benton, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 16th, 2022 at her residence.
Born November 10th, 1933, to the late Cratus Lee and Audrey Geneva (Lamb) York, Mrs. Davis was a native of Marshall County and a graduate of Hardin High School. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and was retired from Benton True Value Hardware. She enjoyed farm life, gardening, and sewing.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Wilson, Teresa WIles, and Gwendolyn Davis all of Benton, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Andrea Jones, Travis Wiles wife Heather, and Lindsey Nimmo husband Michael; and three great-grandchildren Luke Nimmo, Levi Wiles, and Jacy Wiles.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl Davis; one grandson, Brandon Davis Lane; one brother, Toy Lee York; and one sister Hazel Copeland.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19th, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, Kentucky. Robert Johnson and David York will officiate with interment to follow in Marshall County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19th, 2022 at the funeral home.
